BIAN Data Architecture Practitioner

The BIAN Data Architect Practitioner Certification will be awarded by passing the exam. This is one of the official BIAN practitioner Certifications by the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN) and is carried out and certified by Van Haren Cerify. When passing you will be awarded the role of Certified BIAN Data Practitioner in Data Architect & Design. 

The BIAN Data Architect practitioner Certification exam will test the delegates on their knowledge of the BIAN Data Reference Architecture for the Financial Industry. 

Certified BIAN BIAN Data practitioner have the ability to realize the added value of the BIAN Object Model. They have the required knowledge and understanding of the general design principles and elements of BIAN’s Reference Architecture for the Financial Industry. In particular they have achieved the objective of understanding the underlying ArchiMate® and UML based concepts used by BIAN to model the Object Model and have learned to apply the BIAN Modeling Patterns.

The BIAN Architecture Practitioner Certification is an advanced, applied-level certification that builds upon the BIAN Foundation Certification. It is designed for professionals who aim to apply the BIAN Standard in practice, using the BIAN Framework, Metamodel, and Service Landscape to design interoperable, modular banking architectures. This certification demonstrates the ability to translate business needs into architectural blueprints aligned with BIAN principles. 

This certification validates the capability to apply BIAN concepts and artefacts within an enterprise architecture context. Participants will learn how to model financial institutions using BIAN Service Domains, Capabilities, and Business Scenarios, ensuring alignment between business and IT through standardized architectural practices.
